STEP 3: CONFERENCE CALLS

STEP 4: THE OPT! SYSTEM AND LEADS

Opt! is SFG’s custom lead management system which allows agents to order and purchase leads and manage their lead and client database.

Learn how to access and use SFG’s Opt! software here.

Contact your manager to game plan your first lead order. The deadline for order placement is Thursdays at 2pm EST.

 

STEP 5: PREPARING TO DIAL

Learn the B.E.S.T System Phone Script. Practice by role-playing the script with your manager/mentor.

Use this Activity Report to track your progress when setting appointments.

STEP 6: MASSIVE ACTION, CONSTANT CORRECTION (MACC)

Start dialing!

Contact your manager/mentor after every 5 contacts to let them know your numbers. Example: 23 dials, 5 contacts, 1 appointment.

Aim for a minimum of 250 dials and 12-15 appointments each week.

STEP 7: APPOINTMENT PREPARATION

Review the SFG Product Matrix with your manager/mentor.

Learn the R.E.A.L. System/In Home Appointment Script and the Critical Period Coverage Script. Practice role-playing the script with your manager/mentor.

STEP 8: CORE CARRIERS & PRODUCTS

While SFG provides you with the opportunity to work with over a dozen insurance providers, we recommend new agents start out with a focus on our top Core Carriers, starting with Mutual of Omaha. MOO is one of the primary carriers used by most of our agents, so you can start to build a solid book of business without being overwhelmed with options and products.
