• How someone approaches any task is usually how they approach everything. That means the energy a new agent brings to the licensing process says a lot about how they “show up” in general. Your priority in the license course is making sure you’ll retain information to pass your test—but it’s also an opportunity to model the urgency, organization, and communication you’ll bring to the team as a new business partner!

• Your mentor is dedicated to equipping you for success, so pursue their help as you go. When in doubt, reach out!

• Giving you great support also means knowing your progress—fire off a quick call or text to your mentor at least every 3 days while you work toward your license to keep them up to speed with your pace.

• Once you pass your state exam, that level of contact will probably increase as they help you design your schedule and establish cash flow. The most successful new agents connect with their mentors daily!
